Welcome to Wilson Mesa
Wilson Mesa is located 10 miles west of Telluride, and surrounded by the San Juan Mountains including the iconic Wilson Peak and Mount Wilson. Beautiful year-round, Wilson Mesa is accessed by well-maintained dirt roads and is a hot spot for photographers because of the vibrant wildflowers during the summer, breathtaking leaves during the fall, and extensive wildlife that thrive in the area.
Wilson Mesa is home to two primary subdivisions, Wilson Mesa Ranch and Ptarmigan Ranch. Wilson Mesa Ranch contains 1,316.58 acres, 405 of which are common space, with the remaining acreage in the private tracts. These areas are home for a number of year-round and part-time residents and can be accessed by Silver Pick or Fall Creek Roads. The mesa also has Muddy Creek and Elk Creek Reserve and Frasier Homestead up closer to the Wilson mountain range and Little Cone Ranches on the other side of Fall Creek Road.
